Demonstrating Craftsman
I've been working in the slate industry for 32 years. Six generations of my family have worked as quarrymen, and my Grandfather has written books about his experiences in the quarry. Currently I work at the Slate Museum in Llanberis after moving from Penrhyn Quarry.
I've had the opportunity to create interesting things out of slate as part of my current job, and even made a few of things for Buckingham Palace. I love sharing stories about slate and my connection with the area with the public.
